I was a part of a mercenary group situated in Hoofington. We were infamous killers and respected guardians when the job called for it. All that mattered was that we got the job done, no questions asked. A few weeks ago my team was contracted to transport a group of slaves up the eastern coast to Manehattan. There was nothing apparently particular about these slaves, they were just scuffed up old equines and ghouls. Well who knew that this simple task would go to hell? We traversed through the streets of some blown out ghost town, a shortcut to Manehattan that we all knew by heart, talking with each other while on the lookout for shelter or supplies when-

The much too familiar barbed wire sound of a passing bullet. 
We jumped to cover, making sure the slaves were okay. One of us looked around the corner.
CLANG
He fell lifelessly to the ground and rolled back. The formerly still scene erupted into gunfire and I hastily grabbed a chain and took a run for it. Celestia, I don't know how long I was running, but when I turned back, my entire team was dead and another mercenary group was collecting the other slaves. I snuck away before they could notice me. Well now I've been traveling with this ghoul, for Celestia knows how long towards the destination. Its not safe, but we get the job done, no questions asked.
